TRUE FAITH AND COMMITMENTS

Well! Now non Collingwood AFL members might try and understand why it is that Magpie supporters are always full of hope and faith. - Encouraged (Yes! After all last time we were beaten by 88 points, this time it was only 17 - Optimistic (Yes, there is always next week to get back on track)

Faith - (Yes, you don't just swap sides when things are a little down. You have to believe in the team that they will do their best) Commitment (Yes. That is why we pay our $$$$$ each year for weekly seats rather than the pretend supporters who are only couch potatoes in front of their TV and getting this for FREE.

Actually there are many similarities to the Christian faith when you consider this. After all "Claiming" to be an Anglican without physical and financial support is only blowing in the wind.

Like us Maggie supporters. Where would the club be with out weekly, noisy support and encouragement, together with our financial club membership?

Likewise, could this be why most of our churches are declining?
