Old Tyme Meeting
At Macedon this morning once again good spirit and a link up with the Covingtons. Fr Andrew was my curate in Swan Hill days and good to see him still as fresh as a daisy. Must be all that grand children looking after. Also to Fr Alan Pattison from the early days when he was rector of Wodonga and not retired in Perth. Fr Alan and his wife were staying with the Covingtons. Then off to Gisborne to set up ready for the first Soup and Sandwiches luncheon, but also a chance to chat to the Gisborne troops about the family services to start there next sunday. The luncheon went well and a great spirit of togetherness was achieved. Hopefully for the luncheon next week, I won't need to take everything including the kitchen sink. I have worked out where the crockery etc is. Ros and I were up at the crack of dawn loading the car with all the supplies.
