SUNDAY IN GISBORNE

The Breast Cancer Support Service this morning was a wonderful start to the new style Family Services. The data projector was in full flight with the array of ways the modern media was used. We were treated to an excellent speaker in Mrs Lyn Heffernan from Werribee who shared her personal journey. This was followed by two marriage interviews and then it was off to the next Soup and Sandwiches Luncheon in the Hall Kitchen and great fellowship was experienced by us all. Ros was at her best with the pumpkin soup, variety of sandwiches with hard and soft drinks and this was followed by a platter of cheese. Yum I say. After clearing away and wash up we finally arrived back in Tarneit around 5.30pm. Still it was a most rewarding day.
