Retirement! - What Retirement?

An interesting question, but one I don't want to ponder over. While I am still being kept active that's OK with me. Actually had time today to prepare a number of layouts for the Gisborne parish in readiness to present them to the Warden's on Thursday Night. Also went over to Deer Park to speak with a family about a funeral on Friday in Sunshine. Got lost.

Did some shopping on the way home including some nice new table cloths for the Sunday luncheons I plan to hold for the parish at a yet to be decided up location.

Thursday (just finishing a sermon tonight) and off to Altona for a mid week service and then final prep for the wardens meeting in Riddells Creek in the evening. I have prepared a special Data projector presentation for the night and various printed material. This will give the leadership a look at what I am about in ministry, and I guess decide to take some or none on board. At least we have all been offered a home cooked meal before the evening session. Let's hope there are no kangaroos on the road as I return to Melbourne.

Friday morning another full on day with a funeral in the morning, a wedding interview and a funeral interview in the afternoon. With luck I will find time to do my lawns. Then on Saturday off to Werribee to continue the Christmas Lighting set up.
