GREAT POTENTIAL

The second day in the parish of Gisborne and everywhere you look you can see the potential. There is a sense of limbo so I guess my task is to raise that to "where now". The slogan will be 'honouring our past - Planning our future'. There is a lot to give thanks for with the previous parish priest, Fr Brad Billings (Now at Toorak) and as a result there is still great grief. My task is to encourage the parish to build on the good that was achieved.

One example is a lady in her late 70's who looks after the Kid's club, Play group and Kid's Church. She can shame most half her age with her level of commitment. Lorna is a real gem.

It all looks most exciting.
