WARDENS PRESENTATION

A gathering of the parish wardens on Thursday Night was kicked off with a most impressive meal at Alison's home. Met her delightful son Matthew. I am sure she is very proud of him. The wardens are a very well knit group with a common goal and who clearly enjoy each others company. They were very polite about my presentation for ministry which really focussed on ways of loving the people. They have a little homework to do, and then we can bring a number of these "care" issues to the parishioners themselves. The plan is to meet with the wardens monthly so we are all sure what each other is doing. I feel the support I can give and they in return will be a real win win for the parish. All in all a great start for what I hope will be a productive time.
